# Place a row of booths (/help/organizers/venue-map/place-a-row)



**What you'll get:** a full row of booths, evenly spaced, in a few seconds.

    Pick the space type in the bar above the map.

     in the toolbar.

  <Step>
    Click where the row starts, then where it ends. The bar shows how many booths fit.
  </Step>

    Press 

    **Enter**

     to place them.
  </Step>

**You're done when** you see "Placed N booths" and the new row is selected.


## Common questions

### Can I choose how many booths go in the row?

Yes. In the bar above the map, change **Fill the row** to **Exact number** and type the number.

### Can I leave a gap between booths?

Yes. Set **Gap** in the bar above the map.

### Can the row turn a corner?

Yes. Keep clicking to add corners, then press **Enter**. Hold **Shift** to keep lines straight.

### I clicked in the wrong spot.

Press **Backspace** to remove the last point, or **Esc** to start over.
