# Place booths one at a time (/help/organizers/venue-map/place-booths)



**What you'll get:** booths exactly where you want them.

**Before you start:** open the map editor. On the **Spaces** tab, click **Open map editor**.

     panel on the left, click the space type you want.

    Click the map. A booth appears. Keep clicking to add more.

  <Step>
    Need a bigger or odd-sized booth? Drag on the map to draw it.
  </Step>

**You're done when** each booth shows on the map in its space type's color, with a number.

## Common questions

### How big is a new booth?

The size set on its space type. Drag instead of clicking to draw a different size.

### How are new booths numbered?

In order, starting with the space type's number prefix. You can renumber them later.

### Do I need to save?

No. Changes save by themselves a moment after you make them. The top bar shows **Saved**.
