# BZAR — The Platform for Community Commerce

BZAR is a community marketplace and event-management platform for the DMV
(Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia). Community members, vendors, and event
organizers do business together in one place — private bookings, live selling,
and pop-up events. BZAR is live in production; payments run through Stripe
Connect.

## Built for three sides of the same block

### Community members

Find and book trusted local vendors for celebrations — weddings, birthdays,
corporate events — and never miss a great pop-up nearby. Buy tickets to
community events (free and paid) with QR-code entry.

### Vendors

One desk for the whole business: a public storefront, bookings, payments,
contracts, invoices, and customer management — plus event booth applications
and live selling at pop-ups.

### Organizers

Create and publish vendor-based events, review and approve vendor
applications, sell tickets, and check in attendees on event day.
