Jerky Mafia

I started making beef jerky for myself since the halal options were limited, and many used various chemicals and preservatives. It’s a great snack, high in protein, doesn’t make you crash, and it stays edible for a few days without refrigeration. I approached it with two goals in mind - using simple ingredients and quality ingredients. Over time I was passing it out to family and friends, who would share with their friends and then I had people contacting me to buy some. I never thought about selling it when I was just making it for myself, but the response from the Muslim community was very positive. I originally only had one flavor, and packaging them in ziplock bags. Now we have actual food grade packaging, a commercial production process, several different flavors, and quality control to make sure that every piece is just as good as the original batch.
