Selling at and running markets in Nevada.
Nevada vendors need a seller's permit from the Department of Taxation, and promoters register one-time events with it. Homemade food falls under the cottage food law, with registration through local health authorities now and the Department of Agriculture from July 2027. Event food booths are permitted by the Department of Agriculture or a local health district.

Where the sources are unclear.
- Nevada's cottage food statute NRS 580.600 is marked effective through June 30, 2027, and the Department of Agriculture becomes the registering authority on July 1, 2027. The Department's page says to contact the local health authority until then (Clark County: Southern Nevada Health District; elsewhere, Carson City, Northern Nevada Public Health, Central Nevada Health District, or the Department of Agriculture).
- The statute also mentions a separate 'craft food operation' category (NRS 587.6945); its rules were not read.
- The Nevada Secretary of State site returned a bot-check page (Blocked: nvsos.gov), so the business license requirement is cited to the Nevada Revised Statutes on leg.state.nv.us. Ask the Secretary of State about exemptions and about out-of-state vendors with no Nevada office or payroll.
- Special event food permits in Clark County come from the Southern Nevada Health District; fees and deadlines are local.
