The math.
- Booths sit side by side in rows, with an aisle between rows and half an aisle left clear along each wall.
- Booths available = rows × booths per row, minus any spaces you block. Booth area = booths available × booth width × booth depth.
- This is a quick planning grid, not a survey. Check fire lanes, exits and accessible routes with your venue and local fire marshal before you sell booths.
Common questions.
How wide should aisles be between booths?
Wide enough for two people with bags or strollers to pass, which is about ten feet for most markets. Venues and fire codes can require more, so ask yours.
What size is a standard vendor booth?
Ten by ten feet is the most common size for tents at outdoor markets and craft fairs. Indoor events often use smaller tables or booths, and food vendors may need more room. Set whatever size you sell.
How do I leave room for entrances and exits?
Click the booths that sit in front of doors, pillars, loading areas or fire exits to block them. Blocked spaces are drawn as dashed outlines and aren't counted in your totals.
