Booth fee

A booth fee is what a vendor pays an organizer for a space at a market or event. Fees usually vary by booth size, corner or indoor position and vendor category, and are due at approval or by a deadline. Organizers set the fee to cover venue, marketing and permits.

About booth fee.

Also called: vendor fee, space fee, table fee, booth rental.

Prices differ widely by event size and expected traffic. Some events add electricity, tables or tent rental as extras, and some take a share of sales instead of or on top of a flat fee.

Ask whether the fee is refundable, when it is due and whether it covers one day or a whole run. A rejected application should not leave a vendor paying for a space they did not get.

Organizers can work backward from costs and a target number of vendors to set the fee. Our calculator does the math.

Booth fees are paid by card through Stripe and paid out to the organizer; if a vendor is rejected, their booth fee is refunded.
