Permits: organizers

Special event permits for DMV markets.

Most DMV markets need a special event permit from the city or county, and some need more: street closures, temporary structures, food and tax paperwork. Lead times range from about a month to six months, so start early. Here's what each jurisdiction asks for, from official sources.
