Quotes
Build a proposal with packages and add-ons, send it with a secure link, and track acceptance.
Some features roll out gradually. If you do not see this section in your dashboard, it is not enabled for your account yet.
A quote is a proposal you send to a customer. The customer opens it with a secure link, picks a package, and accepts or declines. When the customer accepts, BZAR creates the deposit and balance invoices and a booking for you automatically.
How to create a quote
- Open Quotes → New.
- Pick a customer. If you skip this step, the quote saves as a reusable template with a "Template" badge.
- Add packages, line items, and add-ons. BZAR suggests ready-made templates based on your services.
- Set a deposit as a percent of the total.
- Set an expiry date if you want the quote to expire.
- Optionally attach a contract template. The customer must then sign before they can accept the quote.
- Click Save and send. The customer gets a secure link.
You can edit a quote only while it is a draft. After you send it, you can revoke it, but you cannot change it.
Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Not sent yet. You can still edit it. |
| Sent | The customer received the link. |
| Viewed | The customer opened the quote. |
| Accepted | The customer accepted. Final. |
| Declined | The customer declined. Final. |
| Expired | The expiry date passed. Final. |
| Revoked | You withdrew the quote. Final. |
You can revoke a quote in any status that is not final.
What happens on acceptance
When the customer accepts, BZAR records the selected package, add-ons, and signed name. It then creates:
- A deposit invoice and a balance invoice.
- A booking on your calendar.
