Connect Gmail and Instagram
Link your Gmail and Instagram accounts so their messages flow into your BZAR Inbox.
Some features roll out gradually. If you do not see this section in your dashboard, it is not enabled for your account yet.
Connect your Gmail and Instagram accounts to bring their messages into your Inbox. Both connections live at Settings → Integrations.
What each connection powers
- Gmail. Customer emails appear as Inbox conversations. You can reply by email from a thread. Email automations also send from your connected Gmail account.
- Instagram. Instagram direct messages appear as Inbox conversations.
The Integrations page also holds Square, Shopify, and Google Calendar. Those connections power other features. See integrations.
How to connect a channel
- Open Settings → Integrations.
- Find the Gmail or Instagram card.
- Click Connect and approve access in the window that opens.
After you connect, new messages start to appear in your Inbox.
How to reconnect when access expires
A connection can stop working when the provider revokes or expires your access. When this happens, the Inbox shows a banner that asks you to reconnect.
- Open Settings → Integrations.
- Find the card for the affected channel.
- Click Reconnect and approve access again.
Without a connected Gmail account, you cannot reply by email from the Inbox, and email automations cannot send. Your BZAR and web-inquiry conversations continue to work.
