Event pre-orders

Pre-orders let attendees order from you before the event. You build a menu for each approved event, and attendees pay when they order. At the event, you hand items over from the pickup list.

Requirements

Your application must be approved. Pre-orders are set per event, so each approved event has its own menu.

How to set up your menu

1. Open the Events page and select your approved application.
2. Open the pre-orders menu for that event.
3. Add items. Each item has a name, a price, and an optional image.
4. Add options if an item has variants. Each option has a name and a list of choices.
5. Set an optional quantity cap per item to limit how many attendees can order.
6. Set an optional order deadline per item. After the deadline, attendees cannot order that item.

The master switch

The menu has one accepting pre-orders switch. Turn it off to hide all items from attendees at once. Each item keeps its own active setting, so when you turn the switch back on, your menu returns as it was.

Good to know

• Attendees pay when they place a pre-order. Only paid orders appear on your pickup list.
• To sell live during the event instead, use Go Live.
