Google Calendar sync
Connect Google Calendar so busy time blocks your booking page and booked meetings appear on your calendar.
Some features roll out gradually. If you do not see this section in your dashboard, it is not enabled for your account yet.
Google Calendar sync connects your calendar to the scheduler in two directions. Busy time on your Google Calendar hides overlapping slots on your booking page. Confirmed BZAR meetings appear on your Google Calendar automatically.
How to connect Google Calendar
- Open Settings → Integrations in your dashboard. See the integrations directory for the full list.
- Find the Google Calendar card and click Connect Google Calendar.
- Sign in with Google and grant access.
When the connection succeeds, the card shows your connected Google account.
What the sync does
- Busy time blocks your slots. When a customer opens your booking page, the scheduler checks your Google Calendar for busy events. Slots that overlap busy time are hidden. Delete or move the busy event, and the slot returns.
- Meetings push to your calendar. A confirmed meeting is added to your Google Calendar. When you or the customer reschedule, the event moves. When a meeting is cancelled, the event is removed.
The Google Calendar card has two switches. Block booked time turns the busy-time blocking on or off. Push confirmed meetings turns the meeting push on or off.
How to fix a sync problem
If the card shows that the sync hit an error or is disconnected, click Reconnect Google Calendar and grant access again.
Sync problems never block a booking. If Google Calendar cannot be reached, your booking page keeps working and customers can still book. Only the calendar effects pause until the connection is restored.
Good to know
- Disconnecting stops both directions: your scheduler no longer hides busy calendar time, and new meetings no longer appear on your calendar.
- Busy time is checked live each time a customer views your booking page, so calendar changes take effect right away.
