Getting paid
Connect Stripe on the Money → Payouts page to receive payouts for bookings, quotes, invoices, and event sales.
bzar pays you through Stripe. You connect a Stripe account once, and every payment — booking payments, quote deposits, invoices, payment plans, and live event sales — settles to it. Until you finish Stripe onboarding, customers can't see your packages or pay you.
Where to find it: Money → Payouts (/dashboard/money).
How to connect Stripe
- Open Money in the dashboard — you land on the Payouts tab.
- Find the Stripe Connect card.
- Click Connect with Stripe.
- Complete the Stripe onboarding steps and return to bzar.
You can also connect Stripe during signup, on the payouts step (Connect payouts). You can skip it there with Set up later and connect here any time.
If you stopped partway, the card shows Continue Stripe Setup. Click it to pick up where you left off.
If your payout setup is incomplete, the Settings page also shows a banner — "Payment setup is incomplete. Connect Stripe to receive payouts." — with a Finish in Money link that takes you to the same card.
Statuses
| Status | Meaning |

| Not connected | You have not started. Click Connect with Stripe. |
| Incomplete | You started but did not finish. Click Continue Stripe Setup. |
| Pending | Stripe verifies your account. This usually takes minutes, up to 24 hours. |
| Connected | You can accept payments. A link opens your Stripe dashboard. |
What needs a connected Stripe account
- Bookings, quotes, and invoices — customers pay through a secure link, and the money settles to your Stripe account. See quotes and invoices.
- Payment plans — you cannot create a payment plan until onboarding is complete. See payment plans.
- Your packages — customers see your packages only once your Stripe account is connected and can accept payments. Until then, the Packages page shows a notice with a link to finish payouts, and customers see no packages on your storefront.
- Live event sales — Go Live orders charge customers through Stripe. See Go Live.
Fees
These apply to bookings, quote deposits and balances, invoices, payment plans, and paid consultations.

Refunds: the customer gets back the matching share of their service fee, and the bzar fee on the refunded amount comes back to you. Card processing isn't refunded.
Example (Free plan): a $100 booking. The customer pays $105. You pay a $5.00 bzar fee and $3.35 card processing, and earn $91.65. On bzar Pro you earn $96.65.
Each booking and invoice shows its own payout breakdown, and price fields show what the customer pays and about what you earn. Bookings and invoices created before these fees took effect keep their original terms. Manual payments you record yourself carry no fees. Go Live orders carry a 3% bzar fee on completed orders.
Good to know
- Payout timing and bank details live in your Stripe dashboard, not in bzar.
- See your current rate on Money → Payouts under Fees. bzar Pro removes the bzar fee.
