Getting paid
Connect Stripe to receive payouts for quotes, invoices, event sales, and more.
BZAR pays you through Stripe. You connect a Stripe account once, and every payment — quote deposits, invoices, recurring plans, and live event sales — settles to it. Until you finish Stripe onboarding, selling is limited.
How to connect Stripe
- Open Settings in the dashboard.
- Find the Payment Setup card at the top.
- Click Connect with Stripe.
- Complete the Stripe onboarding steps and return to BZAR.
If you stopped partway, the card shows Continue Stripe Setup. Click it to pick up where you left off.
Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Not connected | You have not started. Click Connect with Stripe. |
| Incomplete | You started but did not finish. Click Continue Stripe Setup. |
| Pending | Stripe verifies your account. This usually takes minutes, up to 24 hours. |
| Connected | You can accept payments. A link opens your Stripe dashboard. |
What needs a connected Stripe account
- Quotes and invoices — customers pay through a secure link, and the money settles to your Stripe account. See quotes and invoices.
- Payment schedules — you cannot create a recurring billing plan until onboarding is complete. See payment schedules.
- Selling listings — incomplete onboarding limits selling on your storefront.
- Live event sales — Go Live orders charge customers through Stripe. See Go Live.
Good to know
- Payouts, payout timing, and bank details live in your Stripe dashboard, not in BZAR.
- Card processing fees are Stripe processing fees. Go Live orders also carry a 3% BZAR fee on completed orders.
