Listings & storefront
Service and product listings
The two listing types, and the fields that each type uses.
BZAR has two listing types: services and products. The type controls the fields you fill in, how customers buy, and where the listing appears. Pick the type when you create the listing.
Service listings
Use a service listing for work you do for a customer, such as photography, catering, or design. A service listing has these fields:
- Duration (minutes) — how long one session takes.
- Advance Notice (hours) — how many hours before the start a customer must book.
- Cancellation Policy — the terms a customer accepts when they book.
BZAR picks a booking flow for the service from its category and pricing model. You do not need to configure it.
Product listings
Use a product listing for a physical item you ship or hand over. A product listing has these fields:
- Stock Quantity — how many units you have. BZAR restores stock when an order is cancelled.
- SKU — your own item code, for your records.
- Weight (oz) — the item weight.
- Requires Shipping — turn this on if you ship the item to the customer.
Customers buy products through marketplace orders. You manage those orders in Orders.
